To design an institute and residence for students in a private music school located at 2nd and Arch Streets in Old City, Philadelphia.

The End Result
Spaces transform from public to private as the procession shifts from a busy urban street to a narrow alleyway, where the residence hall is located. The large performance space is offset from the street but still accessible by the public without disturbing the students. A small grid-ed city block can be made of the various building edges found throughout the site.
