Ravenhill Weather Station |
||
|
Using analytical diagrams from Project 1, design
a meteorology station to be situated behind the Ravenhill Dining Hall of
Philadelphia University's campus.
The design of this building uses the materiality structure from the Measuring Device, especially seen in the East Elevation. Other concepts used include tension- the bridge connecting the two buildings, the shapes of the two buildings; overwhelmingness- the size of the larger building, the glass curtain wall directly in front of you upon entering the gallery space.
