Importance of SPORT Paragraph

Using SPORT can be very helpful. It is a formula that, when followed correctly, can easily help students and teachers begin their essay.

Most Pennsylvania schools require a score of "Proficent" or above on the the standardized PSSA test. Since this is the case, SPORT can be an easy tool that helps student feel more confident. It is something that they can refer to regardless of the the prompt they are given. In addition, the last sentence states the three reasons that will be used throughout the body paragraphs.

If teacher and/or students take a few minutes to review this technique, writing persuasive essays will be much easier.
