AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW!
s

Shakespeare, the man, the myth, the legend--and just who was this guy anyway?  What did he do that was so great?  It is your job to explain this to your class. Using the following links, answer the questions and present your findings to the class.  Each of the questions should be answered completely, and you should include a poster or presentation board to enhance your project.  You should time your presentation to last approximately 10 minutes, and expect questions.  Unlike other groups, you do not have to create a worksheet, BUT, you must have at least half of your 10 minutes allotted to an "interview with Shakespeare".  Have someone in your group give the interview, asking questions about Shakespeare's youth, family, acting and writing career.  Include any additional information that is important but was not covered in the first part of your presentation.  Have someone in your group BE Shakespeare and make sure he or she knows the answers to the questions that will be asked!

Things to address in your presentation:

1.   Describe what Shakespeare's life was like as a boy.  Who were his family members? Anything unusual about any of them?
2.   Where did Shakespeare live?  (Country, town etc.)
3.   Where did Shakespeare go to school?
4.   Whom did he end up marrying?  How old were they?
5.   Where did he live as an adult?  Did he have kids? How many?
6.   What did Shakespeare do for a living at first? What did he do later in life?
7.   Was he wealthy?  Did he own anything of value?
8.   Did you discover that he had any friends?  How about enemies?
9.   Explain his involvement with The Globe.
10.  Describe how Shakespeare influenced the world around him.

Make sure you visit the EVALUATION PAGE to see how you will be graded on this BEFORE you start.
Be sure you divide the work up clearly, so there is no confusion about who is responsible for anything in your group.
