The
Process
In this webquest, you will be
divided up into groups of no more than four. Each group will be
making a presentation about one aspect of Shakespeare's world.
The presentations will be about health and medicine, food and drink,
games, the theaters where Shakespeare's plays were performed, William
Shakespeare's personal life, and most importantly, the language of
Shakespeare.
Each group will give a presentation lasting about 10 minutes. All
groups will have a poster or presentation board as a visual aid,
although with permission, a group could use PowerPoint to present the
visuals. Some groups will include a worksheet in addition to
their presentation, to help their audience better remember their
presentation. Other groups will not be required to prepare a
worksheet, but will instead be asked to do an alternative based on
their particular topic. Each group should carefully read the
requirements before they start.
When all presentations have been completed, the entire class should
have a very good idea of how life in Elizabethan England was
possible.
